Russia's greatest ally?

Donald J. Trump, the 45th President of the United States of America who’s bragged for decades about vanquishing ‘enemies’ in business to accumulate billions of dollars, who crows about sexually assaulting women because he’s a ‘celebrity’, who insults, taunts, and attempts to destroy anyone who dares to disagree with him, and who happily defrauded Trump University students for millions of dollars, wimped out today in Helsinki when he went face-to-face with Russian President Vladimir Putin.

Simply stated, Trump, the self-proclaimed genius and ‘tough guy’ who claims not to be afraid of anybody or anything, was too afraid to confront Putin about Russia’s assault on the 2016 election.

In fact, Donald was so scared of Vladimir, he threw America’s entire intelligence community and the Republican-led Senate Intelligence Committee under the Trump bus by denying the obvious fact that Russia did everything in its cyber-power to make Trump win so Vladimir Putin could have a willing ally in the White House.

The closest the gutless U.S. president got to assigning responsibility for the invasion of our election was when he responded to a question in the Putin-Trump press conference and let Putin and Russia off the hook by saying, “I hold both countries responsible.”

If that statement wasn’t enough to adulate the massive ego of the world’s most notorious former KGB agent, Trump blew verbal kisses to Putin when he kept up his consistent attacks on America’s own intelligence community, our Federal Bureau of Investigation, and Special Counsel Robert Mueller’s investigation.

This was the first time in the history of the United States of America that a president actually turned his back on the country he was elected to represent to embrace a country that has been America’s sworn enemy for decades.

So, why did Trump do it?

Even if Putin doesn’t have evidence of Trump doing something so disgusting that it could damage the reputation of even a man who consistently lies through his teeth and who’s cavorted with porn stars, been unfaithful to multiple wives, stiffed countless vendors, defrauded thousands of students, racially profiled tenants, bragged about sexually assaulting women, and has jailed toddlers ripped from the arms of their mothers, this may be about nothing more than Trump’s pathetically fragile ego.

Perhaps under that ridiculous comb-over, there exists a little brain where resides an ego so fragile that it cannot stand having to confront the idea that Trump’s 2016 victory might somehow be invalidated if he admits that Russia purposefully attacked our election process to give Putin the influence on the U.S. presidency he so desperately needs to expand his presence on the world stage.

Otherwise, why would Donald feel compelled to yelp on and on about his Electoral College margin in front of a nearby smirking Vladimir?

What do you think?
